For those who want to treat their bodies better, but don't know where to start. And those who want to watch something great, but don't know the difference.

Holy crap, I can’t even put into words how important it is that people watch this film. It’s incredibly hard to watch, and most people won’t want to watch it, but that’s part of the problem, isn’t it?

If you’re looking for something to stand for, this should be it.

From my personal blog.

Anonymous asked: Hi, I've been a vegetarian for 5 years now & I'm considering going vegan. However I was wondering how you manage to get the right balance of daily nutrients? Mainly B12 and iron, where supplements cause a lot of side effects, do you have any specific food combinations you use to battle this?

I take a B vitamin supplement! It turns my pee a funny color, and when I first started taking it, I felt kind of loopy. But after a while everything started to balance out. And as far as iron goes, I just try to eat as much dark green food as I can, mostly spinach and things of that sort.

Here’s a list of food that have a high iron content:

0.) Swiss Chard, cooked

9.) Lima Beans, cooked

8.) Tempeh

7.) Bagel, enriched

6.) Tofu

5.) Quinoa, cooked

4.) Spinach, cooked

3.) Lentils, cooked

2.) Blackstrap Molasses

1.) Soybeans, cooked – 8.8 mg

Quinoa is kind of like a wonder grain!

tobeapoet asked: Hiya,
I know you are vegan in your eating habits (and I love your morals yay). Just wondering do you also look at what make up products you wear and clothes and so on as part of the package?

Ah, yes. I knew this question would come up eventually. I’m sorry to say it, but I do not live a COMPLETELY vegan lifestyle. I’ve found that my finances, specifically cannot endure that type of lifestyle AS of this exact moment in life.

However, I do try to stay away from the obvious things (ie. fur, and leather and things of that sort). I will say I am not opposed to honey, and I actually quite like it.

I hope to one day be able to live the lifestyle that I want to. My goal is to one day build a green house. (not a green house, like with plants and stuff.. but a GREEN house!) haha.

So lets hope that my acting career takes me to the places I want to go!

Thanks for reading :)

dear followers!

I am SO very sorry that i’ve been absent for so long. I promise you, it will not happen again. There have just been SO many things going on in my personal life that i had kind of lost myself a bit, for lack of a better phrase.

But for now, I’m picking myself back up, and I will continue to update you on my journey into veganism! yay!

And you haven’t gone vegan yet???????????????????????

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made from—things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from it.
Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve—bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.
There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.
High five, America!
